With Battle Pack: Epic Dawn, you can also participate in Sealed Pack play, which has never been offered before at tournament stores.  Each box contains 36 packs, so you can split the packs with 3 other friends equaling 9 packs each and build a deck out of what you pulled and see who is the victor!  Contact your local hobby store for more details and see if they’re participating in this exciting option.

Random Drawing for Gift Vouchers

Go to the Avacyn Restored Prerelease and experience the newest Magic: The Gathering set a week before it goes on sale!  The times to enter are 12pm (noon) and 6pm.  There will not be any prerelease packs available on the 29th, that’s why we’re doing two prerelease times on the 28th.

What Happens There?

When you show up at a Prerelease you will be given the opportunity to play with the newest cards in the following formats:

Sealed Deck: Each player receives six Avacyn Restored booster packs to use for building a deck.

Two-Headed Giant Sealed: Each team of two players receives eightAvacyn Restored booster packs to use for each player to build a deck.

Open the Helvault: Select Avacyn Restored Prerelease events will include a Helvault that players will have the opportunity to help open during the Prerelease using their achievement cards (see below). Space at these events is limited, so be sure to contact your local store in advance and ask about the possibility of preregistration. What Do I Get?

In addition to the booster packs, each player receives (while supplies last):
1 Promo card (Moonsilver Spear)  (see below)
1 Achievement card

The achievement card is a fun activity for players to complete. Earn the satisfaction of completing all the tasks over the course of the Prerelease! Players participating in a Helvault Prerelease will use the achievement cards to open the Helvault during the tournament.

For the prize pool, Wizards of the Coast provides two Avacyn Restored booster packs per player in the tournament.  Contact your local Prerelease Tournament organizer for specific entry fee, prize payout, and event information.

What Else Can I Do?

In addition to the main Prerelease tournament event, some locations may offer open dueling.

Open Dueling: Open Dueling players each receive:
1 Avacyn Restored Intro Pack
1 promo card (Moonsilver Spear, while supplies last)

Open Dueling players use their Intro Packs to play against each other, as well as Prerelease tournament players who are between matches. All players are encouraged to help teach Open Dueling participants how to play Magic.

You will also receive an exclusive promo card (Moonsilver Spear) while supplies last!
